Born into Brothels
Last night I watched this documentary on television while Hans was working. I recognized the title from seeing the Academy Awards when it won for best doco in 2005. There's a great sort of synopsis video on this NPR page. It was so beautiful, and I encourage anyone to watch it if you can get your hands on it.
Mmm... but anyway, I went out to the shops with my mother-in-law all afternoon, so I'd better figure out what's for dinner.

hahaha so there is a phrase I never really expected to come out of your mouth... "i'd better figure out what's for dinner." ... let me know when I should book my flights to come over for a home-cooked meal.

Yeah, my cooking repertoir has had to expand beyond popcorn. But you'd be proud... tonight I made my awesome fettucini alfredo with mushrooms and asparagus on the side. Last night Hans ended up cooking -- or rather, reheating leftovers. :) But I know the joys of a good Tash-cooked meal... mmm, McGills Bar & Grill.
