Having worked with youth in the past, I am a bit troubled by the amount of information kids are giving out about themselves online these days. I sent out an email this afternoon after coming across a webpage by a girl who had listed her full name, age, school, and parents' names. It took me all of 30 seconds to find her address and phone number off whitepages.com. I was so tempted to call her mother, but I sent an email to her instead saying that she should be a little more cautious, because if I could find this info, so could any kidnapper. I have yet to hear back.
