So I managed to snag a few (okay... 13) comp tickets to the Jars show tonight. It was the first night of the tour, so there were a few awkward moments... but it was basically good overall. "The Widowing Field" was mesmerizing as they showed footage from We Were Soldiers on the backdrop. Extra added bonus -- I have been secretly in love with Joe Porter for years (despite his age and martial status), so it was a happy night anyway. He's so cute in a WWF/Mr. Clean kind of way.
