A recent National Institute of Dental Research survey found that adults had an average of 23 decayed and filled tooth surfaces, with 30% of adults having more than 30 decayed or restored surfaces. I have none. Or at least no fillings to show for it. I had a few caps and fillings as a child... but I have none in my permanent teeth -- yet. However, I have had a constant toothache ever since I went home. :( I guess I had better go to the dentist at Christmastime.

This is an entertaining critical essay on the theory of The Tooth Fairy.
