Well, for anyone who has let candle wax run into their carpet, here is the easiest way to get rid of it. (And yes, I do know this from experience... I just got mine out.) Let the wax harden and then pick out what you can. Put your iron on a warm setting. (Not super hot or you'll melt the carpet fibers too.) Place a paper towel over the wax, and iron over it. You may need to do this several times. (I saw remedies that said to use newspaper, but I started to think that the ink was staying in the carpet. I like the paper towel better.)
