Meet Cookie
This is one of my "pet" kookaburras. We have a pair of them that live in the trees by our house. I've named them Cookie and Casey, the kookokaburras.

We also have Chucky, the cat; Trixie, the gecko; and Jerry, the possum. My mother-in-law has even caught my spirit of naming everything, and she now has a little butcherbird by her house that she calls Butch.

Do they have that song there about the "Kookokaburra sitting in an old gum tree" or is that something we made up over here?

Hehe - you have a Mother in law. Just sounds weird. :)

Are you coming in time for the Pirates and Princess Party at Disney? You need to bring that pirate sweater you have!!

I've never heard the song... ever... so maybe it's something you Floridians made up! :P

Umm... I have a pirate sweater? Are you talking about the one that laces up the front that I got from Manda's pal Jusup? Hehe, I'll have to see if I can find it. It's at my mom's... somewhere.

When is this party you speak of? We're ironing out dates as we speak.

Pirate swtr: you wore it in a photo with Hans DU. Maybe it's a tee shirt and I just wanted it to be a sweater cause it would be a DARN cute sweater.

Hey, that Free Call Planet link looks pretty good.. I wonder which city those numbers are from? Guess it wouldn't matter if you use a mobile phone, huh.

And cute kookaburras! I miss those. They don't live this far north. hehehe.
